Old City Hall

Old City Hall gallery presents "In Dialog" by Naomi Rose and Bruno Tomaino. Visit the gallery on Saturday, May 11 during the ART NIGHT hours for the Reception for the Artists. Admission is free! Some of the artwork is available for purchase.

NAOMI ROSE

I have been creating art for almost 10 years.  My art is one way I express myself.  Some of my drawings are a visual diary for what is going on in my life and at times bring me a sense of peace.  I am inspired by everything around me including other artists.  I am fascinated by all art and the different creative processes.  I want to try everything.  In fact, I am always learning and experimenting with new techniques.  I greatly enjoy using color and texture.

BRUNO TOMAINO

“I try to do something every morning,” Tomaino says. “It’s so relaxing to me. I find myself humming when I’m burning metal. If I can spend an hour every morning, my days are good.” - One Man's Treasure, by Jim Dyar for Enjoy Magazine, October 2009

The exhibition runs April 19 - May 25.

Images coming soon!

Visit the Gallery on Saturday, May 11 between 5pm and 8pm. All new works are now printed on archival quality giclee canvas, giving them a whole new painting-like depth and amazing vibrance of color.

Bob Small, the artist behind SmallShots, has been a serious "shooter" since his college days at Yale, where he was Sports Editor of the Yale Daily News and a frequent contributing photographer. His photographic specialties include sports, commercial, outdoor portraiture, travel, and his first love: capturing those fleeting moments of spectacular beauty in our landscapes.

He is self-taught and freely shares his knowledge of the craft with novices and more advanced photographers.

Enterprise High School

Enterprise High School presents Juan Eddards - an Enterprise High School Alumnus, class of 2001.

Old School Restaurtant

A first time second saturday ART NIGHT participant, Old School Restaurant presents Al Briones! Visit the Restaurant, try their scrumptious meals and enjoy live piano recital of Mr. Briones!

Al Briones writes about his music:

"I find the beauty and power of free form improvised music in how meaning is shared beneath words.
Like a conversation of the heart with a close friend, it can take on a life of its own and travel to unexpected places; becoming an unfolding story that is more about the experience of the journey than the destination.
. . .A story that another heart understands, and knows, because it has lived out and shared the joys and struggles of being alive as well.

May you find true blessings along your journey,
. . . and thank you for taking a moment to share in my journey as well.

---"Hungry Al" Briones"
